Warnert Racing’s Adam Renheim Second at Snocross Finale
Snocross - Stop 8 - Lake Geneva, WI
St. Cloud, MN (3/19/2018) – The 2017-2018 Snocross season came to an exciting end this past weekend in beautiful Lake Geneva, WI. Warnert Racing’s Adam Renheim was looking strong board his Makita Tool NSK GMC Warnert Racing XPS Ski-Doo landing on the podium not once but twice during the weekend!
Under the lights on Saturday, Renheim stayed consistent during the heats and moved easily into the Pro final. Off the start Renheim was about mid-pack and worked his way up to the front during the twelve lap race. On lap nine, Renheim would move into the top three holding down third position. With the checkered flags insight, Renheim took over second place and would finish just a half a second behind the leader.
Renheim brought the fire once again on Sunday by winning the first Pro heat and claiming second in the second heat. In the Pro final, the Makita Tools backed racer jumped off the line in the top five. By the second lap, Renheim quickly moved into second place. He would hold down this position for remaining ten laps and crossed the finish line in style by throwing a Superman over the final jump!
“This was a great weekend for me! It was great getting up on the podium again this season on Saturday and Sunday. My Makita Tools NSK GMC Warnert Racing XPS Ski-Doo worked flawlessly. This track really suited me well as I am used to longer style tracks like this back at home in Sweden!”, explain Adam Renheim
