Elias Ishoel third at soaring eagle Snocross

Makita Tools NSK GMC Warnert Racing XPS Ski-Doo’s Elias Ishoel

St. Cloud, MN (2/6/2017) - The Warnert Racing Snocross team traveled to the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, MI this past weekend for the 6th stop of the ISOC Snocross Race Series. Racers and spectators alike battled inclement weather all weekend with pouring rain on Friday and then snowfall on Saturday mixed with high winds. Despite the harsh weather conditions, Warnert Racing’s Pro Open rookie Elias Ishoel was still able to capture a podium finish!

On Saturday, Elias Ishoel immediately looked comfortable during practice aboard his Makita NSK GMC Warnert Racing XPS Ski-Doo. With better racing conditions, the track had several lines to choose from which made for an interesting and exciting race. Despite starting at the very back of the stacked Pro field, Ishoel was able to stay on the throttle and make his way towards the front of the pack.

With only a week in between races, the team is currently heading west for Stop #7 in Dubois, Iowa for another exciting round of Snocross!
