2019-2020 Warnert Racing Professional Snocross Team Announced
Adam Renheim, Francis Pelletier & Daniel Benham
St. Cloud, MN (11/27/2019) – The Warnert Racing Snocross team is back in action for the 2019-2020 ISOC Snocross Racing season. Training at Quadna Mountain Park in Hill City, Minnesota, the team has been putting down the laps and getting as much seat time as possible to dial in their Makita Tools, Rockstar Energy, GMC, NSK backed Ski-Doos for the upcoming season.
New for this season, Warnert Racing has signed on Pro Racer #221 Daniel Benham. This Minnesota native proved he has what it takes to compete with the top pros finishing 5th last year in the championship, earning him the Pro Rookie of the Year award.
Returning 6-time FIM World Champion #311 Pro Racer Adam Renheim will be competing alongside Benham in the Pro Class. The flying Swede ended last season off on a high note, podiuming all three days at the final round and earning him fourth in the Championship.
Francis Pelletier will be spearheading the team again in the Pro-Lite Class. Pelletier’s consistent podium finishes all season long last year earned him second in the Pro-Lite Championship.
On the technical side of things, Speedwerx’ very own Steve Houle has joined the team for the coming year. His endless knowledge and experience in the industry is responsible for a multitude of championships and awards including 183+ World and National titles, 31 X-Games Medals (15 Gold!), and thousands of podium finishes. Speedwerx is known and respected worldwide as an industry icon that sets the bar when it comes to performance, quality, and service.
“We are excited for the upcoming season with proven championship racers and sponsors. I feel we have a winning combination to capture both the Pro and Pro Lite Championships this year!” said Mark Warnert, co-owner of Warnert Racing.
Snocross Round 1 will kick off this weekend at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota starting with the ever-popular head-to-head dominator on Friday. There, Adam Renheim plans on defending the coveted Dominator trophy and plans to take home another $10,000 check that goes home with the winner of the Dominator along with bragging rights for the rest of the year.
After Friday’s head-to-head action, regularly scheduled snocross racing action will take place both Saturday and Sunday, which is sure to draw a crowd!
